The campaign is underway

The campaign has well and truly started. On a beautiful Saturday morning I gave a brief speech in Penrith’s town centre. Over the coming weeks there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with me – please see the schedule on the homepage.

CAB

campaign launch

Cornmarket, Penrith
Saturday 10th April
10AM

I would be most grateful if you could come to the rally which will launch our campaign in the Cornmarket at Penrith, this Saturday 10 April at 10 am. We would like representatives from every part of this vast and varied constituency: not just from the Lakes, or the Eden Valley or the Pennines but from Longtown, and Bewcastle in the North to Alston and Kirkby Stephen in the East, Tebay and Patterdale in the South and Threlkeld and Wigton in the West. Our dream is to have hundreds of people, each representing different parishes and carrying their different energies into the campaign. Dogs are, needless to say, very welcome. Children even more so. Please could you just drop us a line to say that you can come and try to fill a car. We will do our best to provide balloons and sandwiches.
